Philosophy: Free or Determinated.

Hi everybody, again ;) I haven't got much time but today I discussed something with my friend. He sais humans are determinated by genetic, society, space... I belive in human freedom. Do you?
Humans can choose some things. Our freedom ends were the freedom of others start, but we aren't determinated at all. We are determinated by laws, but not all the things we do are determinated.
And you? What do you think?
